What Kind of Contributions Can You Make?
Our foundation organizes various events throughout the year, allowing volunteers like you to contribute in different areas. You can take part in these events and offer your support as a volunteer. Everyone can participate in volunteer activities according to their own availability. Volunteering does not only mean working at a desk in an office. You can volunteer in many ways—by working actively in the field, communicating with people, making visits, or sharing ideas.
For us, volunteering is a value that embraces every person who wants to turn their knowledge, skills, time and effort into good, without discrimination based on any ethnic element or ideology. Volunteering means mobilizing one’s material and spiritual resources in every situation that requires assistance, solely for the sake of seeking Allah’s pleasure. A person can volunteer by using their financial or physical resources, knowledge and skills. However, participating in a civil society organization or a social project enables you to be more effective by using your resources correctly. Whatever skills you have, everyone’s contribution is valuable. As Hilful Fudul Foundation, we use our volunteers’ energy, talents and time to help those in need and to make society a better place.
It is impossible for those who truly understand the honor of being human to ignore the cries and suffering of humanity, or to turn a blind eye to the needy people shown on television or in magazines. The natural disasters, wars, and famine occurring in today’s world have only increased the need for human values and a compassionate conscience.
